Love smells like Lily of the Valley on the forest floor leading back home It smells like dew drops on fresh peonies at the side of the road going to church Like lilacs at your childhood home, where birds nest and so will we Love tastes like warm brownies on a Sunday morning and lemon cheesecake in early June It tastes like sharing childhood candies and maternal recipes Like watermelon-drenched lips by the lake Love looks like wrinkled sheets and socks on the floor It looks like a candlelit room when the power goes out Like the color green and endless blue, rooted in deep soil and reaching for the skies Love sounds like a blackbird during sunset time It sounds like old songs playing loudly during a long drive Like conversations about nothing and inside jokes Love feels like honey, sticky and sweet It feels like getting in the car after running in the rain Like warm sand, drenched in sunlight and dipped into waters too deep to explore Yet we have Yet we will

Such a poetic way to view the pictures too😭 I think these lil moments close to nature, in special places, when we decide to be all there, evoke such great feelings and give the most inspiration🪞 now when I see these flowers I’ll think of your stories about them and smile☁️ thank you for being you💖
Wow!!!!
Wow!!!!!!!!
I ADORE this!!! This was soooo beautiful. I FELT this. You are a gorgeous poet who writes so sensually. The metaphors and the similes and the anaphora ahhh. I’m a melted puddle on the floor. I want to cherish this poem forever. I’d love to hear you recite it. Your writing is absolutely magical Nadia ✨🩷✨
