Ahh Suyin🥹 it makes me so happy to know my words were received so beautifully and brought back delightful memories for you💗 it’s so so precious to feel heard and understood by you✨

Such a poetic way to view the pictures too😭 I think these lil moments close to nature, in special places, when we decide to be all there, evoke such great feelings and give the most inspiration🪞 now when I see these flowers I’ll think of your stories about them and smile☁️ thank you for being you💖

I ADORE this!!! This was soooo beautiful. I FELT this. You are a gorgeous poet who writes so sensually. The metaphors and the similes and the anaphora ahhh. I’m a melted puddle on the floor. I want to cherish this poem forever. I’d love to hear you recite it. Your writing is absolutely magical Nadia ✨🩷✨

My favourite similes were watermelon drenched lips by the lake, a blackbird singing at sunset and getting into a warm car after running in the rain.

Oh Nadia, how is everything about this love poem feeling so Taurus? My descendant is in Taurus (aka Taurean energy is always the energy I am wildly attracted to lol), and I adore how your poem paints the kind of love that feels like returning to home, comfort, safety, stability, and pleasures that feels like grounded, rooted and relaxed belonging. I am most stunned by that one line about how love feels like a candlelit room when the power goes out. I find that so, so fitting to compare to love as a feeling.

When the power goes out unexpectedly in my home, the 'normal' is suspended and the robotic monotony we tend to exist in - of just getting the next thing done, and then the next, going about life in a stupor of everyday chores - is completely interrupted. We almost feel excited to enjoy this externally mandated excuse to experience something different and light candles, unplug from the internet and be pulled back rather wildly into the present moment. We see the home and the life that we are otherwise oblivious to in a new light - sensual, romantic and exciting with those candles. That's exactly what love does to me, too. Even if it's weird and inconvenient, like a powercut, it paints my entire reality into something different altogether, and makes me stop to admire the present moment, see beauty in my life and have fun, almost naughtily. I cannot get over how brilliant your tying together of these two is <3

Nadia, what a heart achingly gorgeous poem! I feel taken on an enchanting sensory journey into some of the most precious and beautiful scenes of life. I really adore the "lilacs at your childhood home, where the birds nest and so will we", "watermelon drenched lips by the lake", "a blackbird during sunset time", and "warm sand, drenched in sunlight and dipped into waters too deep to explore" - it lights up my heart with memories and sensations.

The photos you shared of the flowers capture such special moments in their lives too - the peony covered in her jewels of dew drops, the lillies of the valley looking like delicate little bells waiting to be rung, and each lilac carrying many friends waiting to give a warm hug.

Please keep sharing with us the magic of your words! <3 <3
